FAMILIAL CLOUDS

Familial Clouds was an installation in the Palazzo Bembo, as part of an invited group show of international architects in a collateral exhibition at the 13th Venice Architectural Biennale, 2012. The process of drawing and designing two built projects, White House and Concrete House, was arrayed as a cloud, through 550 sketches, drawings and models.

INSTALLATION

2012

Participants moved through the installation and were prompted to move their bodies by the alignment of many mirrors, oriented to specific positions in space. The installation presented the act of drawing as an architecture in its own right.
